Very early in the morning, on March 29 when sunrise started, we were lucky to see almost 25 Black Grouses lekking (orrspel) on a field at an army shooting area near the town Skövde in Sweden. We were on a 2-day birding trip to some lakes in middle/south Sweden led by the famous Swedish ornithologist Henrik Waldenström together with his excellent assistants Göran, Björn and Åke, the bus driver.
