Radio amateurs exchanges QSL cards (post card type) to verify their radio contacts. This very small printer, the Canon Selphy CP760, is very handy, e.g. to print such cards with high photo quality.

So if you have a nice photo it is easy to produce your own small series of QSL cards. To put text on the photo and do a lot of other things before printing them I can recommend an on-line service at www.picnik.com. The service with some limitations is free and is very easy to use.
