Field testing the cheap 144 yagi

Now the cheap 144 MHz yagi was ready for transportation and easy set-up. Every month´s  first Tuesday the Nordic Activity Contest 144 MHz is running. I went to the same open field nearby my QTH as before. The received signals were strong and the 6 element seems to work as an antenna. It was cold weather, almost at freezing point level, so I just performed a few SSB QSO´s. Farthest distance was approx. 450 km. I heard Baltic stations, but did not manage to work any. After one freezing hour I dismantled the station. A short video can be seen here.
