Weather conditions

For iPhones etc. exist many apps telling you weather condtions all over the world. I am mostly using an app called AeroWeather. This app tells you accurate weather conditions at airports. Where I live weather complaints are usually about how cold it is outside. When this happens I can ask: Do you know how cold it is at the South Pole at this very moment? Showing the answer with this app makes people stop talking about the local weather. E.g. the temperature this morning at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station is -66 deg C (-151 deg F)!

The temperature is so low at the station that the web camera cannot be used. Instead they are linking to a stunning aurora australis video. Below is a station photo from July 2005 by Chris Danals.
