Welcome to my Blog or I would rather say to my Home Page. The content here is mostly for my own use, i. e. to organize my interests/hobbies and to make it possible to recap what I have found is of interest for me. Some of it may also be of interest for you and I will be glad to share it. As you can see this Home Page has somewhat a focus on amateur radio. That is because my main hobby is or has been Amateur Radio with my callsign SM0FOB. Sometimes it is birdwatching or digital photography. It depends on my mood of the day. That is why the content here has a widespread focus on little here and there. My name is Kjell Bergqvist and I live in Jordbro (QTH LocatorJO99bd) in Haninge in Sweden. Jordbro is located 20 km SE of Stockholm.

Hello Kjell, what a lot of snow there.Incredible. Nice photoshoot of your antenna, very good visible. It's always difficult to photograph or shoot video of a wire antenna. Exept in this winter scene. What time did you make that 80m video, it sounds like it is very quiet and you did almost only hear Skandinavian stations so I guess it was on the middle of the day or in the afternoon? The recording was made in the morning, ca 30 min before sunrise. You are right. From that time and on the band will be almost dead here during daytime. Today I started to listen 1 1/2 hours earlier. You can hear the result in my post above.
